Support for Students

Students are encouraged to contact their teachers/ form tutors and/ or our learning support assistants via their Walker email addresses if you require extra support whilst the Academy is closed.

There are lots of support charities/agencies available to you if you require specific help, some are identified below.

ChildLine is the free, 24-hour helpline for children and young people in the UK. Children and young people can call our helpline on 0800 1111 about any problem, at any time - day or night.

You can contact ChildLine about anything - no problem is too big or too small. If you are feeling scared or out of control or just want to talk to someone you can contact ChildLine.

Sexual exploitation affects thousands of children and young people every year. We can all play an important role in reducing that number, helping to cut children free from this abuse.

The Childhood Bereavement Network is a national, multi-professional federation of organisations and individuals working with bereaved children and young people. We believe that all children have the right to information, guidance and support to enable them to manage the impact of death on their lives.
